Kumbh Mela is like a vessel. In fact, it is a vessel. And the pot of Kumbh is the pot of nectar, the nectar that can make us. This nectar can help us realise and attain that state which we can safely call as a state of pure consciousness, as a state of truth, that truth, which is free from any kind of fear, any kind of lie. This is a state free from any kind of greed, lust, jealousy, anger, ego, and attachments.
Kumbh is that which makes you complete. The Kumbh Mela is that great occasion where you get the platform, the opportunity to not just be on the banks of Maa Ganga. and take baths on beautiful mornings (the Bramha Muhurt) in the cold waters of the divine Maa Ganga Ji. It is also the platform where you get to meet the Guru Tattva, where you get the opportunity to meet those who have realised, those who dwell in that state of bliss, in that state of freedom, in that state of truth, who are not afraid. And therefore, this is what makes them be in this moment. This is what makes them happy. This is what makes them blissful.
This is what makes them move ahead in their journey towards totality. Or towards the source. And the source is very important for each one of us. Human beings can be very intelligent. They may have made great strides in technology, and in various other sciences, in art and culture, and in various other fields like business. But what is it that really matters to a human being? The thing that matters most to you is to be that (pure). This is a place where you don't need peace, where you don't seek peace. You can either say that you are beyond peace, or you can say that you are peace. You can either say that you are bliss, or you can say that you are beyond bliss. Or you can even say you're both.
What is the truth of a human being? That which you call the real identity. The real identity is the pure consciousness. That is the real identity of any living being, of any soul, of any human being. And the human being gets access to this through a particular process and that process is called yoga. And in yoga, there is this beautiful tradition in which many yogis including the ones from the Himalayas, thousands of yogis, they assemble together. More than thousands of yogis, they gather in one place. This is probably the only occasion where the maximum number of yogis, the maximum number of Sadhaks, the maximum number of seekers, spiritual seekers come together. They assemble in one platform, in one place, at a certain period of time.
Normally the duration of this gathering and knowledge sharing is of 45 days. Very soon we are going to witness mega Kumbh Mela, Haridwar Kumbh 2027 - Flow of Nectar. And that is going to be quite long. It's going to be more than 50 days. So, the thing is, that this is that place where all the yogis, thousands and thousands of them, and all the spiritual or bliss seekers in millions, they are going to assemble at the same place. And therefore, the seekers will have access to o wisdom, to darshan, to scriptural knowledge, to experiential knowledge, to realisation based wisdom, to guidance., particularly spiritual guidance.
They will also be receiving Yoga related guidance, and blessings, and apart from this, a very beautiful positive environment to learn, connect and practice. There will be an environment full of blissful energy. On the banks of Gangaji, where you can sit down and observe, where you can observe yourself. You can observe your breath. And even go deeper, and there is a process to it. And the process is told to you by the guru.
My dear friends, once again, Kumbh Mela is very close, and we need to start preparing for the Kumbh Mela as a practitioner, as a meditator, as a seeker from today onwards. From this moment onwards. Because this is going to Haridwar Kumbh 2027 - Flow of Nectar, a very special time for millions of spiritual seekers. For all of them, the Haridwar Kumbh 2027 is going to be a grand opportunity. For all the seekers, all the meditators, all the yoga practitioners of this world. And for that, you need to start now.
You need to be prepared. The Kumbh Mela starts from mid of January 2027 onwards. So we have almost like 5 months or a little bit more in our hands for the preparation. It might appear as if there's a lot of time. But it's better not to waste any time. The better position you are, the deeper you have gone, the more you will be able to observe, the more you will be able to learn, the more you will be able to grasp. The more you will be able to experience, the more you will be able to experience the bliss, the nectar, to receive the nectar, to drink the nectar, to sup the nectar at the Kumbh.
The time has come. This is the clarion call of the Guru. The Guru is the Master, the Master of Yoga, spiritual knowledge, wisdom, and practice Guru is the one who removes the blanket of ignorance and replaces it with knowledge, with wisdom. So it's best to start preparing now.
